Clinical Support Manager Job Opportunity | Home-based, with regular travel
£70,000–£80,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Private Medical Insurance
Eleven homes. One consistently high standard of care.
Care Concern Group is creating a new Clinical Support Manager position to provide visible, expert clinical leadership across a defined portfolio of 11 care homes.
Working alongside Regional Leaders, Home Managers and Clinical Teams, you will strengthen governance, anticipate risk and ensure safe, effective and person-centred practice is embedded consistently across every service.
Your value will lie in knowing where to look, what to challenge and how to turn clinical insight into better everyday practice. You will combine clear professional judgement with a supportive leadership style that builds confidence, strengthens accountability and brings people with you.
Contract
- Salary of £70,000–£80,000 per annum.
- Home-based, with regular travel across the portfolio.

The Opportunity
This is a highly visible, portfolio-wide role in which you will:
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to regional leaders, Home Managers and clinical teams.
- Maintain effective oversight of clinical quality, compliance and emerging risk across the portfolio.
- Use audits, quality indicators, incidents and safeguarding themes to identify priorities and ensure timely action.
- Strengthen clinical governance across care planning, medication management, risk, safeguarding and infection prevention and control.
- Coach and develop Home Managers, Deputy Managers, Clinical Leads, nurses and care teams.
- Support services to respond confidently to regulatory feedback and demonstrate sustained, evidence-based progress.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Operations and external professionals to ensure actions are delivered and high standards are maintained.

This is not a role conducted from a distance. You will be present within our homes, close to the detail and ready to provide practical, hands-on support wherever it will make the greatest difference.
About You
You are an experienced and credible clinical leader who understands what excellent care looks like and what it takes to achieve it consistently across multiple services.
As a qualified RGN or RMN with current NMC registration, you have built your career within care homes, older people’s care or a similarly complex health and social care environment. You understand CQC requirements, clinical governance and safeguarding, and you are confident interpreting audits, incidents and quality information to identify risk and establish clear priorities.
Your experience demonstrates more than technical knowledge. You have supported managers and clinical teams to strengthen practice, navigate challenge and achieve measurable outcomes. You are comfortable asking difficult questions, providing professional challenge and escalating concerns, when necessary, but you do so in a way that builds trust and encourages people to take ownership.
You are visible, practical and calm under pressure. Whether you are coaching a newly appointed Manager, reviewing clinical practice or supporting a team to deliver an action plan, you remain focused on what matters most: safe, responsive and person-centred care.

Previous multi-site experience would be particularly valuable, alongside a full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel regularly across the portfolio.
