Clinical Support Specialist – Robotics

Location: Northern Ireland | Bordering ROI counties considered

Leading Irish healthcare business with a global supplier network

Exciting robotics portfolio - cutting-edge clinical technology

£45,000 – £55,000 base + £10,000 bonus | Company car | Pension | Life assurance

Clinical support role - no direct sales experience required

The Company

Our client is one of Ireland's leading healthcare sales, marketing, and technical services businesses, supplying innovative products and solutions to healthcare providers across hospitals and the wider community. With a strong and growing presence across the island of Ireland and a reputation for clinical excellence and customer service, they are now looking to add a Clinical Support Specialist to their robotics division, covering Northern Ireland with some support into Dublin.

THE ROLE

This is a field-based clinical support position where you will act as the procedural and product expert within your accounts, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical teams to drive utilisation of specific robotic procedures and deliver outstanding clinical support.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Attend and support cases
  • Deliver product and procedure training
  • Represent the business at clinical evaluations, demonstrations, and tender processes
  • Feed market intelligence and new business leads back to the commercial team

You will also be required to travel abroad for product training and will need flexibility to accommodate early morning cases when required.

THE PERSON

We are looking for a clinically credible candidate with a relevant clinical qualification and the confidence to guide clinicians in a high-pressure theatre or clinical environment. You should be able to build immediate trust with surgeons, nurses, and technicians, and be comfortable delivering structured training and education.

Requirements:

  • Relevant clinical qualification is essential
  • 2+ years experience in a similar clinical support or applications role is desirable
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare environments
  • Confident presenting and training at clinical level
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy territory
  • Willingness to travel for training and to support the wider team in Dublin when required
  • Full clean driving licence essential

THE PACKAGE

  • Base Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE
  • Bonus: up to £10,000
  • Fully expensed company vehicle
  • Lunch allowance: £10/day
  • Pension, life assurance & income protection
