About the Role

We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker to join our nursing team on the 23 Hour Ward (Elective Surgery) at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, based at Warwick Hospital. The 23 Hour Ward is the elective surgical stay ward for patients who have been identified for surgery.

The Ward Covers Many Surgeries, Including

  • Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery
  • General Surgery
  • Urology Surgery
  • Gynaecology Surgery
  • Colorectal Surgery
  • Breast Surgery
  • Bowel Surgery

Clinical Support Workers play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care and supporting the smooth flow of patients through the hospital and into the wider community. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and person-centered care throughout their journey with our services.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake high-quality, caring, and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional.
  • Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.

Requirements

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Roles involve rotational shift working, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, with unsocial hours enhancements.
