About the Role
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Clinical Support Worker to join our friendly Surgical Assessment Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join the surgical team at a time when we are developing our same day emergency surgical care service for patients referred from a variety of sources including the Emergency Department and GP’s.
Main Duties
- Supporting the provision of high quality, safe, compassionate, and efficient care for patients attending the surgical assessment unit.
Ideal Candidate
- Competent in taking bloods and performing ECGs, or enthusiastic and willing to learn these skills as part of their development.

Role Description
The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring, and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Contribution to the Trust
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
