Clinical Team Leader Opportunity in CAMHS
Are you a registered Mental Health/ Learning Disabilities Nurse looking for a Clinical Team Leader role, that could develop into a clinical manager position. Joining our experienced inpatient senior nursing team at Seastone Ward, based on Alumhurst road, will help you grow and develop your career in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
About the Role
As the Clinical Team Leader you will provide innovative, high-quality care to young people aged 13-18 suffering from acute mental illness. The ward will offer comprehensive assessments and treatment so Service Users can have shorter stays in hospital. You will help lead the team providing high quality care to young people working in a supportive team to provide individual care to those within the unit in accordance with the integrated care programme approach. We provide in-depth ongoing inductions, invest in personal training programmes and clinical and management supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide innovative, high-quality care to young people aged 13-18 suffering from acute mental illness
- Help lead the team in providing high-quality care
- Work in a supportive team to provide individual care in accordance with the integrated care programme approach
- Attend and participate in ward rounds, clinical case meetings, and CPA reviews
- Day-to-day supervision and management of band 5 Tier 4 CAMHS nurses/staff nurses and mental health support workers

Requirements
- Registered Mental Health/ Learning Disabilities Nurse
- Completion of Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Working Hours
The Clinical Team Leader role is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week for a 24-hour service. We would be flexible and welcome part-time applicants of 22.5 hours.
- Early: 07.00 to 15.00
- Late: 12.00 to 20.00
- Long days: 07.00 - 20.00
- Nights (enhanced pay): 19:30 to 07.30
Additional Information
- £3,000 Recruitment Premium, with a payment of £1,500 upon completion of probation and £1,500 after 12 months in post
- Generous relocation package of up to £10,000 if moving to Dorset
- Visa sponsorship not available
