The Regional Communication Aid Service (RCAS)

The Regional Communication Aid Service (RCAS) is a regional specialised service commissioned by NHS England. We provide specialised assessments and provision of communication equipment to adults and children across the North-East and North Cumbria who have complex communication needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Technologist

You would be joining a supportive, multi-disciplinary team working across the region to help people achieve their goals. As a member of the technical team, you will support the assessment, provision and review of electronic communication aid equipment and mounting systems.

The role involves working with adults and children with a range of disabilities. You will work both independently and as part of a team. You will work into a variety of community settings, including schools, homes, care homes and hospitals across the North East and North Cumbria region.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
