Medpace, a leading Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), is now expanding teams across its Clinical Trial Management Group in London.
For all Clinical Trial Managers specialising in Nephrology, we welcome opportunities to continue working in their area of expertise OR transition into new therapeutic areas. To accommodate flexibility requirements, hybrid or remote work models apply to candidates with the relevant experience.
We offer a highly competitive salary- and bonus structure, favoring remuneration via base salary + innovative equity grants—a highly valued long-term incentive.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accountability and smooth execution of project operations aligned with the contract, adhering to ICH/GCP standards and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary contact for site and vendor queries, monitoring deliverables related to operational issues and study deliverables
- Maintain specialist, in-depth knowledge of the protocol, therapeutic area(s), and indication
- Provide cross-functional oversight of the internal project team, ensuring:
- Provision of necessary project-specific training
- Review and provide technical input during protocol drafting, edit check specifications, data analysis plans, and final study reports (where applicable)
- Develop operational project timelines, risk assessments, and execution strategies
- Manage key site vendors, steering partnerships to achieve quality objectives
- Supervise the full spectrum of site QA, including:
- Direct oversight of project Clinical Research Associates (CRAs)
- Delivery and maintenance of high-monitoring standards

Required Skills and Experience
- Degree: Bachelor’s in a health or life science (advanced degree preferred)
- Therapeutic experience: Phases 1-4 with preference for Phases 2-3
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on clinical trial management experience, (CRO) preferred
- Project-level accountability to ensure on-time delivery of trial components and milestones
- Bid defense experience strongly welcomed
- Unrivalled leadership heart and adaptability in resolving complex challenges
