An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Clinical Trials Assistant to join the Research Team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical research studies across the Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in healthcare research and wishes to contribute to improving patient care through clinical trials. The post holder will work closely with research nurses, clinical practitioners, consultants, study sponsors and external organisations to ensure research studies are delivered to the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Responsibilities
- As with all secondment opportunities, interested parties should discuss the opportunity with their line manager before applying.
- The Research and Development Department supports a diverse portfolio of clinical studies across a variety of specialties. As a Clinical Trials Assistant, you will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing healthcare through research.
- The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support for a portfolio of clinical research studies and will assist the research team in all aspects of trial management.

Development Opportunities

We have a long and proud history of caring for generations of local people and can trace our roots all the way back to 1814 with the first hospital in Bolton – the Bolton Dispensary in the town centre.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust was formed in 2008 and, in 2011, we became an integrated provider with community health services joining the trust.
