We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Join the PATH (Psychosis: Prevention, Assessment and Treatment in Hertfordshire) Service, a specialist Early Intervention in Psychosis team supporting people experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic, supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in line with NICE guidance. Alongside our commitment to clinical excellence, we are proud to be at the forefront of innovation and research.
The service is actively involved in collaborations with the University of Oxford and King's College London, helping to implement novel psychological therapies, digital interventions and emerging technologies that enhance recovery outcomes for people experiencing psychosis.
As a member of our team, you will have opportunities to contribute to service development, research and quality improvement initiatives, while working alongside highly skilled and experienced colleagues in a psychologically informed service.
This post is suitable for newly qualified Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologists who have keen interest in psychosis.

The Successful Applicant Will
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, in line with NICE guidance.
- Contribute to comprehensive assessments, including the use of psychometric measures where appropriate.
- Support multidisciplinary colleagues through psychological formulation, consultation and collaborative care planning.
- Play an active role in the continued development of psychologically informed practice across the service.
We are committed to supporting the growth and development of our staff. The Trust offers excellent continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities and actively encourages clinicians to develop specialist interests that align with both service and professional goals.
As part of your role you will be expected to engage with further training: CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Family Intervention for Psychosis (FiP), as well as other specialist courses as required.
