About Us

We’re a forward-thinking, growing practice with a strong reputation for high-quality psychological services.

Due to high demand, we’re looking for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join us who shares our passion for delivering effective, compassionate, evidence-based support, and is keen to be part of our development.

Our clinical director, Dr. Chris James, set up the practice in 2015 and in the past two years we’ve grown into a full team including a practice manager and a digital marketing, media and communications executive. We are a highly successful, busy private practice that is proud to provide high quality evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specialist assessments, clinical supervision, training, consultation, and medicolegal work to a broad range of individuals and organisations all over the UK and internationally.

The company has two brands: ChangeUp Psychology, providing mental health and wellbeing support, sleep and insomnia clinic, and an ADHD assessment and support service, and Sleep Athletic, which helps professional athletes, sports teams and high-performance individuals to sleep and perform better.

The Role

The role involves providing tailored psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations for a broad range of clients, many of whom are high-functioning individuals seeking support for mild, emerging, or non-clinical issues, including personal development and performance.

You'll also actively contribute to service development, projects, training, supervision, and external consultation work. Flexibility, creativity, and an interest in applying psychology beyond traditional clinical settings are key.

We particularly welcome applicants interested in sleep, ADHD, autism, adolescent mental health, or non-clinical applications of psychology. Want to get actively involved in service growth, including social media, outreach, consultation and training.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
