About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated individual to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support in the development of the delivery of the Clinical and Forensic Psychology services provided by the Kolvin Service.
The Kolvin Service compromises a regional community adolescent forensic mental health service, a nationally commissioned FCAMHS provision; and integrated mental health and forensic service provision into two Secure Children’s Homes in the North East for young people aged 10-18 years. The post holder will need to be capable and adaptable to travel between sites when required.
The current position will be a service-wide post to meet developmental consolidation, experience, and service need. The post holder will be complementing and contributing to a developing dynamic service and leadership provision.
Key Requirements
- Experience and Skills:
- Confident in providing high-quality evidence-based assessments and interventions.
- Experience of providing psychotherapies, formulation, trauma-informed care, multi-agency working / liaison.
- Understanding and experience of working with young people with mental health, behavioral, and emotional difficulties in complex environments.
- Demonstrable research, audit, and evaluation perspective and competency.
- Ability to develop and deliver staff training and methods of reflective practice.

Responsibilities
- Engage in the supervision and the continuing professional development process.
- Regularly receive support, line management, and clinical supervision.
