We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates. You’ll drive performance in sales, customer service, and operations while meeting and exceeding targets.


About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to act as the CEO of your own store, with complete accountability for:

  • Recruiting and retaining customers through strategic targeting, in-store events, and exceptional customer relationship management.
  • Executing a fast-paced business plan, leveraging strengths in:
    • Event management
    • Consumer insights
    • Business planning
    • Frontline marketing
  • Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, helping them realise their full potential.

Ideal candidates are ambitious self-starters with a passion for business leadership and a drive to grow in the prestige beauty sector.

Career progression: Many senior leaders began their careers in point-of-sale roles. This position provides comprehensive experience—financial planning, consumer insights, strategy, and marketing—essential for advancing toward senior leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Sales Associates.
  • Set and achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.
  • Devise and implement strategic business plans aligned with customer retention and engagement.
  • Execute impactful in-store events to drive sales and brand loyalty.
  • Oversees financial planning, resource management, and budget execution.
  • Supports customer relationship management, ensuring insights guide decisions.
  • Fosters a positive team culture with a focus on cooperation, respect, and continuous development.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Retail sales background (essential).
  • Proven leadership and team management in fast-paced environments preferred.
  • Strategic planning experience—capacity to develop and adjust business objectives.
  • Financial acumen—ability to analyse budgets, forecast sales, and map expenses.
  • Basic tech proficiency: Microsoft® Excel, email systems, and digital databases.
