Job Description

CLLD Assistant Project Officer

Council Offices, Kirkwall

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent
  • £32,743 - £35,006 £17.94 - £19.18 per hour
  • The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Manager.
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 0900 – 1700 hrs.
  • Flexible working is considered, where possible.

Purpose of the Role

  • To provide financial and administrative support to the Community Led Local Development team.
  • Processing and monitoring grant applicants, claims, and payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with scheme guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CLLD team by processing grant applications and payment of claims.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets for accurate recording and monitoring of funding streams.
  • Provide administrative support to the CLLD Team and the Local Action Group.

  • Experience with grant-assisted projects.
  • Familiarity with public sector funding.
