The Role
This is a hands-on position at the centre of Hayfin's CLO strategy. You'll own the operational side of our CLOs from the day a warehouse is set up through to the quarterly payment cycle and everything in between.
That might mean working through warehouse tests and drawdown requests as a new deal takes shape, running the Interest Payment Date calculations that make sure every dollar flows where the documentation says it should, or picking up the phone to a trustee when the numbers on two systems don't quite agree. You'll work closely with our portfolio managers, finance and compliance colleagues, and with the administrators and trustees we rely on externally.
Much of the job is about being the person who knows how the structure actually works, and who can find the answer in the documentation quickly when someone asks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
