Cloud & AI Solutions Sales Executive – Reading

Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 basic + OTE / Benefits

About Our Client

Our client is a technology consultancy and cloud solutions provider helping enterprise organisations modernise infrastructure, data platforms and AI capability. Continued growth has created an opportunity within their strategic sales team.

The Role

Our client is looking for a commercially driven Solutions Sales Executive to develop new opportunities across cloud, data and AI transformation. You will work alongside solution architects and technical consultants to understand customer challenges and develop commercially compelling technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify enterprise opportunities across cloud, data and AI services.
  • Engage CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Cloud, Data Leaders and transformation teams.
  • Lead discovery and commercial qualification of customer requirements.
  • Work with Solutions Architects to develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic relationships with cloud ecosystem partners.
  • Own pipeline, forecasting and CRM reporting.
  • Achieve agreed bookings, revenue and margin targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience selling cloud, data, AI or digital transformation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP or related technology ecosystems.
  • Experience selling consultancy, professional services or complex technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise procurement and commercial sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Existing relationships within enterprise technology markets would be beneficial.
