Hiring: GCP Cloud Architect – Telecom OSS
📍 Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid – 12 Days/Month Office)
💼 Employment Type: Permanent
💰 Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum
👨💻 Experience: 15+ Years (P2) | 10–15 Years (P1)
We're looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Architect with a strong Telecommunications OSS background to lead cloud transformation initiatives for a major telecom client.
Mandatory Skills
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – GKE, Compute Engine, BigQuery, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Python or Java
- Cloud Networking & Security
- Telecom Domain (RAN, Core & IP Transport)
- OSS/BSS Architecture & Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available GCP cloud architectures.
- Lead migration of legacy OSS applications to GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost.
- Integrate OSS/BSS platforms with enterprise applications.
- Design Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
