π Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior AWS Solution Architect to join a leading Telecom client in London.
The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of overall technology experience, including 7+ years of hands-on AWS experience, with a strong track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions.
The role requires a combination of expertise across AWS Cloud Architecture, Application Modernization, Microservices, Serverless, Security, Networking, DevOps, Data Platforms and AI/LLM Engineering.
Candidates with experience in Telecom / Communications environments and large-scale distributed platforms will be highly preferred.
π Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud-native and AI-powered solutions on AWS aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Architect serverless, event-driven and microservices-based platforms for enterprise-scale telecom workloads.
- Design scalable solutions covering High Availability, Disaster Recovery, resilience, performance and cost optimization.
- Architect RAG, Agentic AI and Multi-Agent systems, including orchestration, tool calling and state management.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions and architectural decision-making.
- Design multi-account AWS environments, networking and security architectures.
- Define LLMOps, AI evaluation, guardrails, observability and prompt/context engineering practices.
- Architect modern Data Lake and analytics platforms using Iceberg, Spark, Glue, Athena, Redshift and Kafka/MSK.
- Define distributed-system integration patterns using APIs, asynchronous messaging, EventBridge, SQS/SNS and Step Functions.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK and CloudFormation.
- Define CI/CD and DevSecOps architecture using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams across Python, API design and distributed data processing.
- Define observability, disaster recovery and performance optimization strategies.
- Work closely with telecom business stakeholders, engineering teams, DevOps, data/ML engineers and customers.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution estimation, architecture documentation, technical proposals and POCs.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native and AI architecture best practices.

- 10+ years overall experience in software engineering, cloud engineering or solution architecture.
- 7+ years hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale AWS cloud architectures.
- Experience with multi-account, serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security, networking and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, Agentic AI and/or Multi-Agent AI architectures.
- Practical experience with LangChain / LangGraph / LangSmith.
- Experience with LLMOps, AI evaluation, prompt/context engineering and observability.
- Strong experience with modern data platforms and distributed data processing.
- Experience leading architecture reviews, migration and modernization initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Telecom domain experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with UK-based stakeholders and enterprise customers.
