Are you an innovative, solutions-focused and collaborative technology professional? We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our Information Services team at Nottinghamshire Police.
🚀 What you'll do
As our Cloud Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud-based solutions that support policing and public services. You'll work alongside developers, business analysts and technical specialists to design, build and maintain secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and deploying cloud-based solutions using industry best practice
- Supporting business change initiatives through automation and innovative technology
- Monitoring and optimising cloud infrastructure performance, security and scalability
- Identifying and resolving technical issues while improving existing systems
- Advising on cloud strategy, architecture and future technological developments
- Working closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet organisational needs
- Managing cloud costs and forecasting future requirements to maximise efficiency

💡 What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions within AWS and/or Azure environments
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, security and infrastructure best practices
- Experience developing Microsoft 365 solutions and using software development tools and techniques
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C# and PowerShell
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant qualifications, certifications or equivalent experience in cloud technologies
