Cloud Architect x2 Manchester - 5 days a week onsite

£80,000 - £88K + 5% bonus

We are looking for a Cloud Architect with strong Azure expertise and a broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on designing and overseeing the technology ecosystem that supports critical business applications, ensuring cloud services, databases, identity platforms, SaaS solutions, and end-user technologies work together securely, reliably, and efficiently.

  • Design and oversee cloud and infrastructure architecture, primarily within Azure.
  • Ensure enterprise applications are supported by scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
  • Assess the impact of technology changes across the wider infrastructure estate.
  • Provide architectural guidance across cloud, identity, databases, SaaS, and end-user computing environments.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive technology decisions.
  • Support infrastructure transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.

Skills

  • Azure Cloud Architecture experience.
  • Broad infrastructure knowledge across networking, databases, identity, and SaaS platforms.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and modern workplace technologies.
  • Strong architecture, solution design, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technology ecosystems and dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
