ABOUT DESCRIAL
Descrial is an AI work-execution platform purpose-built for alternative investment firms and their portfolio companies and securely orchestrates proprietary data, external sources, and workflows. Descrial is an important pillar of Enterprise Intelligence Orchestration (EIO) and enables it by structuring and standardizing data while embedding domain expertise, thereby enabling faster and contextual analysis, broader coverage, and more intelligent decision-making. It is backed by TresVista's 1,800+ employees and deep domain expertise across investment diligence, research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics. The team is small, senior, high-ownership, and in-office, with direct access to the Executive Committee.
OVERVIEW
As Cloud Architect, you will own the infrastructure architecture of a multi-tenant AI platform serving confidential investment workflows: AWS foundations, Kubernetes-based runtime, infrastructure as code, and the security, isolation, and cost posture the platform's enterprise clients demand. LLM workloads make this unusually interesting — capacity, token economics, model-provider integration and the data boundaries around them sit inside your remit, not beside it.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Architecture and foundations
- Own AWS architecture end to end: accounts and landing zones, networking and VPC design, EKS/ECS runtime patterns, RDS/S3 data services, and DR/HA posture
- Codify everything: Terraform modules, Helm charts, and repeatable environment automation with security and compliance built in
- Design multi-tenant isolation as a first-class property: network, data, identity, and per-tenant configuration boundaries that survive audit
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Security, compliance, and cost
- Partner with the Cyber Security Lead on IAM, secrets, encryption, and hardening; support SOC 2 / ISO 27001 alignment, emerging ISO 42001 and EU AI Act obligations, and client security reviews
- Own the cloud cost model, including LLM/API spend visibility and controls — cost per workflow is a platform KPI
- Design the data boundaries around model-provider calls: where prompts and documents travel, how that path is regionally constrained, and how it is evidenced to clients
Delivery and operations
- Build and improve CI/CD (Jenkins with quality gates) and progressive-delivery patterns for platform and AI services
- Establish observability standards (OpenTelemetry, metrics, alerting) and operational runbooks with the engineering team
- Guide engineers across London and Bengaluru on cloud patterns; review designs that touch infrastructure
WHO YOU ARE
Prerequisites
- You have architected AWS environments at production scale — landing zones, networking, multi-tenant isolation — and can walk through the decisions you would now make differently; typically 3+ years in an architecture role within 6+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering
- Deep Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and Helm experience; strong networking and security fundamentals
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience with real isolation and compliance requirements
- Evidence of cost engineering at scale, ideally including AI/LLM workload economics
- You build with AI coding tools daily (Cursor, Claude Code or comparable) and have a considered view of where they help and where they do not
