The Role
As a Cloud Billing Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our cloud billing operations. Supporting the Cloud Billing Manager, you'll lead a team of Cloud Billing Analysts, overseeing workloads, maintaining service quality and helping to deliver accurate and scalable billing solutions for our customers.
Working across Finance, Technology, Sales, Customer Operations and Service Delivery, you'll be responsible for resolving operational challenges, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our cloud billing service evolves alongside our growing cloud business.
As a Cloud Billing Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of cloud billing operations and supporting recurring billing cycles.
- Managing team workloads and priorities to ensure accurate and timely billing outcomes.
- Coaching, developing and motivating Cloud Billing Analysts to achieve their potential.
- Acting as an escalation point for complex billing and customer issues.
- Monitoring team performance, capacity and service quality through KPIs and operational reporting.
- Supporting governance, controls, reconciliations and audit requirements.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to improve processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
- Helping to build a high-performing, customer-focused team culture.

We'd love you to have
- Experience working within a complex billing, finance, technology, telecommunications, cloud or managed services environment.
- Previous experience leading, coaching or coordinating operational teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing high-volume operational processes and competing priorities.
- A solid understanding of operational controls, governance and service management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex data.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.

It would be great if you also had
- Experience with cloud, subscription or usage-based billing models.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, AWS or Adobe billing.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting operational transformation or business change initiatives
