Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer
Location: London / Bristol / Leeds / Sheffield
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract
Tax Status: Inside IR35
We're supporting a Tier 1 bank in the search for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and automation of cloud security controls across a large-scale Azure and GCP environment.
This is a genuinely hands-on engineering role, focused on building security solutions through code rather than governance or advisory activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud security guardrails using Terraform, Azure Policy, and OPA/Rego
- Own and optimise Wiz CNAPP/CSPM for cloud posture management
- Develop and enhance Python-based security automation and AI-driven tooling
- Embed security controls across CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
- Partner with engineering teams to drive secure-by-design and shift-left practices

Essential Skills
- Strong Cloud Security or DevSecOps Engineering background
- Enterprise-scale experience with Terraform, Azure, and GCP
- Expertise in Azure Policy and OPA/Rego
- Experience with Wiz or similar CNAPP/CSPM platforms
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience working within regulated environments
