Job Description

About the Role

We are hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and operate our AWS infrastructure, improve deployment workflows, and automate day-to-day operations. This role is hands-on, focused on AWS, Terraform, K8s, and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for production and non-production environments.
  • Develop and own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Operate and support K8s (EKS) workloads: deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
  • Implement automation and tooling in Python / Go / Bash / PowerShell to reduce manual work.
  • Improve monitoring and alerting for AWS and K8s (Prometheus/New Relic).
  • Participate in on-call rotation and drive operational improvements after incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience.
  • Strong AWS experience, including core services: EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Route 53, VPC networking.
  • Strong Terraform experience.
  • Strong knowledge of K8s fundamentals (networking, workloads, ingress, scaling, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with CI/CD systems: Jenkins / GitLab CI (or equivalent).
  • Solid Linux skills; Windows experience is a plus.
  • Ability to write and maintain automation scripts/tools (Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell).
  • Understanding of SDLC and microservices deployment patterns.

Nice To Have

  • AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python)/CloudFormation.
  • Jenkins.
  • Experience with Lambda, OpenSearch, Redis, AMQ, MySQL, FSx.
  • Strong AWS networking/security experience (Transit Gateway, VPC peering, routing, SG/NACL).
  • AD/DNS/domain fundamentals.
