About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Consultant to support a number of cloud, infrastructure and automation initiatives within a retail enterprise environment. Initial 6 month period (likely Outside IR35). This is a hybrid role, with the candidate ideally being commutable to Brighton / Sussex.
The DevOps Consultant should have good Azure experience to support a range of cloud, infrastructure and automation initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, driving automation and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering within enterprise-scale environments whilst retaining the flexibility, ownership and pragmatic approach often developed within SME or startup organisations. You will be comfortable working with stakeholders, challenging existing approaches where appropriate and delivering practical outcomes.

Essential Skills
- Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience
- Azure DevOps
- Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Python or PowerShell scripting
- Azure networking and security
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Git, GitHub or GitLab
- Monitoring and observability tooling
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
