Cloud Engagement Leader – AWS Life Sciences & Healthcare
We're looking for a Cloud Engagement Leader – AWS Life Sciences & Healthcare to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode.
In this role, you will own the AWS business within the Life Sciences & Healthcare portfolio, partnering with EPAM leadership, AWS stakeholders and clients to drive cloud-enabled transformation. You will combine strategic business development with hands-on cloud expertise, guiding clients through AWS modernization journeys, fostering executive relationships and championing best practices across co-sell, co-delivery and cloud engagement methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with EPAM’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Business Unit to deliver AWS engagements and expand cloud presence
- Collaborate with AWS senior leaders to amplify joint value propositions and create differentiated impact
- Engage with Director-, VP- and C-level client executives as a trusted AWS technology advisor
- Build and accelerate strategic relationships with AWS and key stakeholders
- Identify, develop and close cloud transformation opportunities to drive portfolio growth
- Serve as Cloud Transformation leader in roles such as Engagement Manager, Architect or Delivery Leader
- Lead AWS deal development efforts as a player-coach, orchestrating strategic pursuits
- Mentor and enable Client Partners and Delivery Leaders in cloud business best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven experience in technology consulting and delivery with focus on AWS modernization
- Demonstrated success driving and growing cloud business in professional services or enterprise environments
- Strong background in cloud engineering with hands-on experience in migration and modernization programs
- Expertise in cloud enablement, app modernization, cloud-native development, governance, DevOps and SRE
- Experience with major cloud providers, with strong AWS competency; AWS certifications preferred
- Industry exposure in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma or R&D
- Strong executive communication, relationship-building and strategic sales pursuit management skills

- Practical fluency in AI-driven delivery models such as AI-Native Development and FDE
- Experience working with Fortune 1000 clients
- Familiarity with cloud financial management and FinOps principles
