Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (AI Enablement)

Location

London

The Client

Our client is a leading investment firm where technology is central to its competitive advantage. The business continues to make significant investment across AI, cloud engineering, and platform infrastructure, creating an environment where exceptional engineers can have a direct impact on how the firm operates and evolves.

This is not a traditional infrastructure role.

You'll sit between AI, cloud, and Front Office technology, helping to build the foundations that enable next-generation capabilities across a global investment platform. Working alongside engineering leaders, infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders, you'll be responsible for delivering secure, scalable platforms that bring AI from concept into production.

For engineers who enjoy solving difficult problems, working with smart people, and building systems that matter, this is an opportunity to operate at the forefront of technology within financial services.

What You'll Get

  • The opportunity to shape an enterprise AI platform from the ground up.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, GCP, and leading AI technologies including OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • A highly technical environment where engineering excellence is genuinely valued.
  • Close collaboration with Front Office and senior technology leadership.
  • Significant ownership and autonomy from day one.
  • Competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits.
  • The chance to work alongside some of the industry's strongest technologists.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Need

We're interested in speaking with engineers who have experience across several of the following areas:

  • Public cloud engineering (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Platform engineering, automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Hybrid infrastructure and networking.
  • Identity, security, and governance within cloud environments.
  • Production support within high-availability environments.
  • Experience working within regulated, mission-critical, or low-latency organizations is advantageous.

Most importantly, we're looking for naturally curious individuals who enjoy building things and want to be part of an organization that is investing heavily in AI and cloud technology.

If you'd like to work on meaningful engineering challenges while helping shape the future of AI within a world-class technology organization, we'd love to hear from you.
