• Proficiency in a range of AWS services, with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest features and releases.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar.
• Understanding of networking concepts and their application in software-defined networking within cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or OpenShift.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• AWS certifications are desirable but not mandatory; training and certification opportunities are available for committed candidates.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native architectures that are scalable, secure, and resilient.
• Utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK to automate resource provisioning and management.
• Creating and managing infrastructure, ensuring best practices in design, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
• Developing standard implementation patterns and reusable modules to streamline deployment processes.
• Managing software configurations and source repositories, maintaining consistency and security across environments.
• Implementing and leveraging AWS security features, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
• For senior-level engineers, leading teams or mentoring junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
