Infrastructure Cloud Engineer opportunity, London based insurer, Hybrid working, up to £90k base + bonus & benefits package
What you'll be doing:
- Designing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable Azure infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)
- Enabling CI/CD and release automation through Azure DevOps, supporting Development teams with cloud-native hosting, APIs and containerised workloads
- Partnering with Data teams on cloud ingestion, storage, analytics and BI infrastructure, including Azure Fabric and/or Databricks
- Building automation with PowerShell/Python to cut manual operational overhead
- Implementing monitoring, logging, backup, DR and resilience practices
- Embedding security-by-design and working closely with Cyber Security on posture, vulnerabilities and compliance

What you'll need:
- Extensive, hands-on experience administering, configuring and migrating the Microsoft Azure platform and its associated applications is essential — this is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Insurance, financial services or other regulated-industry background
- Strong grounding in Azure networking, security, identity and access management
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM or equivalent)
- Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipeline delivery and support
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell and/or Python)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and related cloud tooling
- Experience supporting SQL platforms or cloud-based data workloads
