Cloud Operations Engineer - Manchester - Hybrid - 3x a week in office, £55,000
My client is looking for a hands-on Cloud Operations Engineer to help manage the availability, security, and performance of their AWS-hosted infrastructure.
What you'll do:
- Manage and continuously improve AWS production environments
- Lead 1st/2nd line incident response & on-call for P1/P2s
- Support CI/CD pipelines & troubleshoot deployments
- Own monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch & X-Ray
- Support security, compliance & disaster recovery activities

What you'll bring:
- Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS, ALB, VPC networking)
- Windows Server & networking/load-balancing know-how
- Operational SQL Server experience
- CI/CD & infrastructure automation experience
- A disciplined, process-driven mindset ideally in a regulated environment
