Do you want to make a difference with the work you do?

Join us as a Cloud Engineer.

Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, making sense of data, and ensuring cloud-hosted services run smoothly?

If you thrive on hands-on work with real-world impact, this could be an ideal fit.

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Operations team, supporting the cloud, data, and backend systems that power Yunex Traffic’s products.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Infrastructure Support, Application Support, and Development teams, focusing on delivering reliable, secure, and well-managed services, especially for SQL-backed platforms and the data that drives them.

Variety is at the heart of this role, combining cloud operations, troubleshooting, and diving into SQL/data issues, ready to uncover real root causes. Here, you’ll need an inquisitive, analytical mindset and a passion for solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Support

  • Resolve incidents by troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including updating configurations, health checks, and environment verification, including database/service checks.
  • Support and maintain AWS services, such as EC2, VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS, MSK, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

System Operations & Monitoring

  • Maintain and enhance monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability, performance, and operational supportability.
  • Work within established incident and problem management processes, with clear notes and concise operational updates.
  • Investigate SQL/database issues, including performance bottlenecks, failed jobs, data integrity, and access problems, and collaborate with engineers to implement safe fixes.
  • Support deployment activities (including database changes) and ensure smooth transitions between test and production environments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
