Cloud Engineer
Oxford, Hybrid (One day per week in Office)
Up to £55,000 + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Engineer to join a growing technology team that is investing heavily in its cloud capability. The Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will help build, support, and improve cloud infrastructure across the organisation's Azure environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure
- Assisting with infrastructure-as-code deployments using Bicep and other automation tools
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Writing PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts to automate operational processes
- Managing cloud resources including virtual machines, networking, DNS, certificates, and storage
- Supporting incident resolution and troubleshooting cloud-related issues
- Contributing to cloud security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives
- Assisting with the delivery of integration solutions using Azure Integration Services
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Working closely with senior engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and identity management
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and operational support processes
- Experience using Git version control
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalent are beneficial
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in developing cloud engineering expertise
