£550 per day inside IR35 - umbrella only
If you're a hands-on cloud engineer who enjoys turning designs into reliable, governed infrastructure, this is a great opportunity. You'll work alongside a small, experienced team to build and automate parts of a target Azure environment—focused on Infrastructure as Code, governance, and secure deployments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing low-level designs for the target cloud environment
- Setting up an Infrastructure as Code platform to enable landing zone deployments
- Creating management groups, subscriptions, resource grouping, and applying Azure policy and governance
- Configuring RBAC to support secure access controls
- Building and testing network components, including load balancing
- Provisioning core services such as storage accounts, key vaults, and file servers
- Setting up backup and monitoring services
- Provisioning VMs (including app, middleware, and database) with appropriate controls

What You'll Bring
- Strong experience delivering cloud infrastructure work end-to-end, from design through build and testing
- Practical capability across Infrastructure as Code and repeatable landing zone deployment approaches
- A solid understanding of governance, policy, and RBAC for secure, compliant environments
- Experience provisioning common Azure components including networking, storage, key vault, and VM workloads
- Confidence working within a small team of cloud specialists and collaborating to deliver consistent outcomes
