Infrastructure Cloud Engineer
📍 Preston | 💰 £450pd Outside IR35 | 📅 6 Months | 🏢 Hybrid – up to 3 days onsite per week
We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join a technical team delivering and supporting secure, compliant and automated Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage Azure IaaS & PaaS services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Manage Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines and source control.
- Maintain cloud security, identity, governance and cost-management standards.
- Support cloud projects from design through to implementation.
- Provide hands-on operational support and troubleshooting.
- Monitor Azure resources, RBAC, compliance and platform recommendations.
- Produce and maintain technical build/change documentation.

Key Skills
- Strong Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
- Azure DevOps / CI/CD.
- PowerShell and JSON automation.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Azure security, governance, identity and RBAC.
- AZ-104 / AZ-400 level experience.
- Understanding of networking and on-prem infrastructure is desirable.
