Cloud Engineer & Client Account Manager

Location: South West London (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Permanent | 40 Hours Per Week

Are you an experienced Cloud Engineer looking for a role where you'll have real ownership, direct client interaction and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise across a wide range of technologies?

We're looking for a proactive Cloud Engineer & Client Account Manager to join our growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three years' commercial IT experience, ideally within an MSP environment, who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with building strong client relationships.

You'll work closely with the Technical Director, taking ownership of our clients' cloud environments, security, networking and infrastructure while acting as a trusted technical advisor. Rather than being just another engineer in a large organisation, you'll play a key role in helping businesses get the very best from their technology.

If you enjoy variety, autonomy and working with modern Microsoft cloud technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cloud Engineer & Client Account Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting and maintaining Microsoft cloud environments, networking and security solutions.
  • Managing and improving cloud infrastructure, security and monitoring.
  • Creating scripts and automating cloud deployments and reporting, particularly within SharePoint.
  • Configuring, maintaining and updating firewalls, routers and network security.
  • Acting as the technical escalation point for firewall and cloud networking queries.
  • Working alongside support engineers to deliver outstanding service and continuous improvement.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to technical contact.
  • Working with third-party suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Managing equipment ordering, provisioning and deployment.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, new product releases and industry best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
