Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, build and maintain secure, scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure that supports Greene King's applications, services and ongoing digital transformation. You'll help improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency across our cloud environments while driving automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps best practices.

Qualifications

Your role as Cloud Engineer

  • Design, build and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code adoption, implementing cloud engineering best practices and supporting efficient DevSecOps delivery.
  • Support the migration, optimisation and ongoing management of applications and services within cloud platforms, ensuring strong performance and reliability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve cloud environments, proactively addressing issues and enhancing operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security and support teams to deliver cloud-native solutions, share technical expertise and promote cloud best practices across the business.

    • Common platform monitoring tools

    • Disaster Recovery
    • Investigating/Troubleshooting IT Server Infrastructure related incidents
    • Migrating on prem servers / applications to a cloud environment.
    • Cloud native platform monitoring / security / patch compliance services.
    • Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems
    • Cloud native network security
    • Azure IaaS and PaaS services
    • Azure ARM / BICEP for resource deployment
    • MySQL / SQL admin and maintenance
    • Development and DevOps processes / tooling
