Role: Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform. In this role, you will design, implement, and automate scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads. The ideal candidate is passionate about:

  • Cloud technologies
  • DevOps practices
  • Continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch) adhering to best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimisation.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform templates and modules to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to facilitate smooth application deployment and compliance alignment.
  • Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
  • Maintain proper documentation, version control, and configuration management across environments.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and continuous improvements in infrastructure automation.

Key Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in:
    • Cloud infrastructure engineering
    • DevOps
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring).
  • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Networking concepts
    • VPC design
    • Security groups
    • IAM policies
  • Proficiency in:
    • Linux administration
    • Scripting (Bash or Python)
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and version control.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
