About The Role

Hireful is seeking an experienced AWS / Python Cloud Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development and maintenance of their AWS-based infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance, cloud-native applications that are crucial in processing and analyzing large-scale real-time data streams. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with software developers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud engineering, particularly within the AWS ecosystem, and demonstrate excellent Python programming skills. Proven experience in designing highly available, scalable, and resilient software solutions is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, ECS, SQS, and Aurora. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, along with experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, is highly desirable. Additional skills in Java, C++, or Microsoft Azure data services will be considered a plus. A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are also required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, real-time cloud-native applications using Python, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Build and deploy cloud solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, SQS, and Aurora to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Implement containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes, adopting serverless architectures when appropriate.
  • Monitor application health and performance through CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold best practices and ensure code quality.
