Azure Cloud Engineer – Private Equity - London | Contract - up to £750 p/d Inside IR35 (dependent on experience) - 12 months initial
A leading Private Equity firm is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and enhance their Azure environment, with a strong focus on cloud operations, automation, security, and resilience.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Azure infrastructure, while also driving patching and vulnerability remediation, infrastructure automation, and improvements across the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment.

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on Azure administration experience
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills, with Terraform or Bicep
- Experience with patch and vulnerability management across Azure-hosted workloads
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting
- Experience with application migration
- Experience with Landing Zone design is highly desirable
- Hands-on Entra ID and Conditional Access experience
- Experience supporting and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Experience with cloud security tooling such as Wiz or GitHub Advanced Security is beneficial
- Private Equity or other regulated environment experience is a plus
