AWS Senior Cloud Engineer – Contract Opportunity (Inside IR35)
📍 Location: Coventry, UK (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week)
💼 Employment Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
💰 Day Rate: £500 per day
We are hiring an experienced AWS Senior Cloud Engineer to support a strategic cloud transformation programme. This role requires strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), and enterprise cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Cadent architects to produce detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation, including network designs.
- Design AWS networking components, including VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, and Transit Gateway (TGW).
- Define secure network connectivity patterns for enterprise integrations.
- Design and provision AWS infrastructure for the SAP AEM platform.
- Build and configure Amazon EKS clusters.
- Deploy SAP AEM onto Amazon EKS.
- Configure AWS networking components in line with approved architecture.
- Perform end-to-end connectivity testing and troubleshoot integration endpoints.
- Ensure AWS infrastructure follows security, scalability, and operational best practices.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
- Expertise in AWS Networking (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, TGW).
- Experience creating Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying enterprise applications, preferably SAP AEM, on AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting and network connectivity validation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
