About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at GXO Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of our supply chain activities. Your primary focus will be to ensure the seamless movement of goods, optimize logistics processes, and maintain strong communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics activities, including shipment scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements to meet operational demands.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory data.
- Resolve any logistical issues promptly, escalating concerns when necessary to ensure minimal disruption.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members as required.
