Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: London
Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

Are you an experienced AWS Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and building technology that makes a real difference?

We are looking for an AWS Developer to join an experienced Software Engineering team working on critical systems for National Security customers. You'll work in a small, autonomous DevOps team, with genuine ownership across the full delivery life cycle — from understanding requirements and designing solutions, through to development, deployment and ongoing improvement.

  • AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, IAM, SNS/SQS and ELB
  • Python, Bash or Shell scripting and strong software development skills
  • Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK
  • Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
  • Microservices, APIs and automated testing
  • Linux, networking and cloud security
  • Agile and DevOps ways of working

AWS certification would be a bonus, but hands-on experience and a willingness to learn matter most.

Security Clearance is required for this role, so you'll need to be a Sole British National willing to undergo the relevant clearance process.
