About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities and improve user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating scalable and efficient applications. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably with experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with modern development frameworks and tools such as React, Angular, Node.js, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new software features to enhance the Hackajob platform.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Write comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
