Cloud IAM Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £70,000
Location: Manchester or Inverness – Onsite, 5 days per week

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud IAM Support Engineer to join our Identity & Access Management team and play a key role in supporting and delivering secure, reliable IAM services.

You’ll help ensure the right people and systems have the right access to the right resources, at the right time and for the right reasons.

The Role

As a Cloud IAM Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting a range of identity and access management technologies and services, including:

  • Entra ID RBAC and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Entra ID and Active Directory synchronisation
  • Entra ID MFA, SSO and Conditional Access
  • CloudStrike integration support
  • Entra ID users and dynamic group administration
  • Entra ID Enterprise Applications, Service Principals and Managed Identities
  • Entra ID Governance, including Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes and API applications
  • Okta SSO integrations and support

Essential Skills & Experience

We’re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in:

  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Okta
  • Active Directory synchronisation and integration
  • CloudStrike integration

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would also be beneficial:

  • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
  • Active Directory administration, including users, groups, GPOs and PKI
  • BeyondTrust PRA and PAM

Security & Pre-Employment Checks

The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment and security checks, including identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history covering the previous three continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check.

This position also requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although additional checks may be required if you have lived outside the UK within the previous three years.
