Role: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Location: Buckinghamshire - Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Seniority: Senior Architect
Salary: £95,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Cloud Infrastructure Architect who thrives in large-scale transformation environments and enjoys shaping technology strategy while staying close to delivery? We're partnering with a great client as they embark on one of the most significant technology transformation programmes in their history. As part of a move away from legacy Oracle platforms towards a modern SaaS-first ecosystem, we're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to help define the future cloud strategy and build a new internal architecture function from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business investing heavily in modern platforms including Salesforce, Snowflake, AI technologies, and Workday, while influencing long-term architecture decisions across the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and shape cloud architecture strategy across a rapidly evolving enterprise technology landscape
  • Define cloud roadmaps and target-state architectures across AWS and Azure environments
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure architecture aligns with business outcomes and practical implementation
  • Support the migration from legacy Oracle-based platforms towards modern SaaS solutions
  • Provide architectural guidance across major programmes including Salesforce, Snowflake and future Workday implementations
  • Collaborate with Enterprise, Integration, Salesforce and Data Architects to establish best practices and standards
  • Influence technical direction and investment decisions across the organisation
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and business leaders to translate strategy into actionable architecture plans
  • Contribute to cloud governance, security, scalability and resilience initiatives
  • Help build and mature NHBC's internal architecture capability as reliance on external consultancies is reduced

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join?

This is a unique opportunity to join us during a pivotal period of change.
