Role: Cloud, Security & Infrastructure Architect
Salary: £100,000 per year
Location: Milton Keynes
Flexible Working: Hybrid – 1 day per month in the office
We're partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a major technology transformation, moving from a legacy estate towards a modern, SaaS-first technology landscape.
What you'll be doing
- Define cloud, security and infrastructure architecture, standards and patterns
- Design secure, scalable and resilient cloud and hybrid environments
- Shape cloud strategy, roadmaps and future technology direction
- Embed secure-by-design, IAM, networking and security principles
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and modern cloud practices
- Provide architectural input into security, resilience, disaster recovery and risk
- Support legacy estate modernisation and platform rationalisation
- Contribute to architecture governance, technical standards and cost optimisation
- Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Platform and Information Security teams

What we're looking for
- Strong experience in Cloud, Infrastructure or Security Architecture
- Proven experience designing secure cloud and hybrid environments
- Strong Azure experience; AWS exposure is advantageous
- Knowledge of cloud security, networking, IAM and secure-by-design principles
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, ARM Templates or Ansible
- Strong understanding of DevOps, automation and modern infrastructure practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Technically credible, pragmatic and comfortable working close to delivery teams
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance or another regulated environment is desirable
- Knowledge of FCA/PRA, ISO 27001, GDPR, Zero Trust or DevSecOps is advantageous
