Razorblue Role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team of like-minded tech people.

This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, supporting enterprise environments, and helping shape the future of cloud and infrastructure services. You'll act as a senior technical escalation point, work on strategic infrastructure projects, and help maintain the platforms and services that underpin both our customer and internal environments.

Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving complex monitoring and infrastructure issues across internal platforms.
  • Ensuring our core infrastructure and hosting platforms are performing at optimal levels.
  • Supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects and service improvements.
  • Acting as a 3rd/4th line technical escalation point for complex customer issues.
  • Managing and improving backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Delivering maintenance, upgrade and expansion projects across infrastructure platforms.
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing engineers across the wider technical teams.
  • Contributing to automation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining high levels of technical documentation and operational excellence.

Razorblue Requirements

We know it's unrealistic to find someone who ticks all of these boxes (extra points if you do), which is why we seek those eager to develop over time through our development resources and peer learning. If this aligns with your own personal growth mindset, we would love you to apply.

Experience includes:

  • Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell.
  • Cloud networking, identity, security, backup and governance.
  • Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and Intune.
  • VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms (desirable).
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam and Zerto (desirable).
  • Enterprise Windows Server environments (desirable).
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer-facing skills (desirable).
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are also desirable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
