🚀 Cloud Infra Engineer – Contract – Glasgow, UK (Onsite)
📍 Location: Glasgow, UK

🏢 Work Mode: Fully Onsite
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Glasgow, UK. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with production infrastructure, reverse proxies, security protocols, and cloud-native technologies.
🔹 Key Requirement
The ideal candidate will have L4/L7 experience running a reverse proxy in production, using any major vendor such as:
- NGINX
- HAProxy
- F5
- Traefik
- Envoy

🔹 Required Skills
- Strong Go (Golang) production experience
- Strong knowledge of TLS/mTLS, including:
- SNI
- ALPN
- Client certificate validation
- Certificate lifecycle management
🔹 Preferred Skills
- JWT / OAuth2 / OIDC – hands-on experience implementing or debugging token validation preferred; general knowledge is also considered
- Protobuf / gRPC – experience with schemas and debugging gRPC transport

🔹 Other Relevant Skills
- OPA / Rego policy implementation, including experience with Kubernetes admission control
- Distributed storage: Redis, DynamoDB – TTL, replication, failover, and consistency
- Identity platforms: ForgeRock, Okta, Ping, Auth0
- Kafka / Event Streaming: producing and consuming events, configuring topics/consumers, and event-driven service integration
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTel)
