Outstanding contract opportunity to join a global retailer with 70,000+ staff across 16 countries, expanding rapidly with major growth planned across new and existing markets. As the business scales, its technology foundations must evolve to match and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & Network Architect with retail sector experience to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme focused on modernising hybrid cloud platforms, strengthening Azure adoption, and uplifting core network patterns across OCI, Azure, on‑prem, and SWAN/Verizon SDI environments.
If you thrive in complex hybrid landscapes, enjoy shaping secure and resilient architectures, and want to influence technology decisions at enterprise scale, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast‑moving retail organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
