The role:
My client, an established Trading firm are seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join their team.
You will be providing Engineering and Architectural services for Cloud solutions (AWS) that facilitate high performance Trading workloads.

- Design and implementation of Cloud / Hybrid cloud architecture for high performance Trading workloads
- Monitoring of the stack
- Orchestration tolling for provisioning of Cloud resources
- Building backend systems for performance metrics and Observability
Core skills required:
- Strong experience with AWS
- Deep knowledge of Network and Compute services (EC2, VPC, Direct Connect etc.)
- Good understanding of AWS overall, and concepts such as IAM
- Strong Network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF etc.)
- Strong understanding of Linux and Linux based Networking
- Strong knowledge of programming in either Python or Go
- Experience with agentic AI coding
- Security focused mindset
