YOUR ROLE
This is a high-impact opportunity within our Cloud Advisory capability unit, contributing to Capgemini Invent’s leadership in cloud transformation across a diverse range of industry sectors.
As a Consultant – Cloud Operating Model Transformation, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients navigate the organisational and operational shifts required to realise the full value of cloud. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and, working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-enabled business models and operating structures that drive agility, innovation, and measurable outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cloud Transformation Advisory: Supporting clients in understanding the impact of cloud transformation and shaping digitally enabled operating models.
- Assessments and Audits: Evaluating existing cloud operating models to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Contributing to tracking the maturity and effectiveness of cloud transformations and recommending adjustments where needed.
- Delivering Business Outcomes: Applying your skills in strategy, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organisational design to help deliver tangible results.
- Collaborative Innovation: Collaborating with colleagues and client teams to co-create innovative cloud transformation strategies which will contribute to the growth of our consulting practice
As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications, etc.

YOUR PROFILE
You’re passionate about helping organisations transform through technology and thrive in environments where cloud is a key enabler of change. You bring a mix of technical understanding, consulting mindset, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
We’re looking for individuals with experience in some of the following areas:
- Familiarity with ITILv4 best practices, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, as well as Service Desk operations.
- ITILv4 Foundation or higher-level certification is highly valued.
- Understanding of DevOps principles such as CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Exposure to managing solutions on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including core services across compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience working in a consulting environment or in industry with a consulting background.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed organisation, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in or exposure to proposition development and delivery.
